Miller Manor offers space, privacy, and comfort for all. Miller Manor is a stately and beautiful manor house that is nestled high on a hill with an unmatched view of the Walnut Creek valley. Once the residence of the town doctor and his family this elegant and luxurious country estate affords a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay in a Georgian Manor. Large rooms adorn the manor and are filled with comfortable, elegant furniture and beautiful furnishings. The Manor can easily accommodate up to 20 guests.
The main floor features spacious and light filled living areas: two great rooms, one with a fireplace and a baby grand piano, both with couches and chairs for relaxing, a den with an extensive library, desk, sofa and ottoman, the master (king) bedroom and bath suite (features a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub) with an additional queen size sofa bed. The master suite also features a private balcony with a beautiful view of the northeastern valley. Also included on the main floor is a fully equipped kitchen with a casual dining area with a table that can be expanded to seat twelve, and a central island with stools. There is a formal dining room, two half baths, a laundry room, an amazing sunroom with heated floor, and private patio access.
The Second floor features: two large (king) bedrooms each with an additional queen size sofa bed, two full baths, one bedroom with two single beds (which shares one of the bathrooms with the king bedroom), and a spacious sitting area with balcony access.
The lower level features one large (king) bedroom with two single beds and a spacious full bath. The lower level also offers various recreation options: home theater, ping-pong table, pool table, air hockey, fusbol, as well as two treadmills. Two portable single beds are available onsite. The rear patio features a gas grill and outdoor furniture with an umbrellas for shade. There is an additional built-in gas grill located inside the large 3-car garage.
All king bedrooms include new memory foam king and twin bed mattress toppers and a smart TV/DVD with Dish satellite. The brand new large screen smart TV in the theater area has a DVD player with Dish satellite and an HDMI cable to connect to your device. There is a small collection of popular DVD's to choose from. Large and comfortable common areas provide the perfect places for families and friends to gather, connect and fellowship. Please see our floor plans included with our photos. Outdoor recreation amenities include a tennis court and a two-hoop basketball court, located on the owner's property within view, just down the hill from the Manor. The front courtyard features a gas fire pit with chairs for use in warmer months. This is the perfect location for sightseeing, shopping, walking or biking, playing golf in Sugarcreek and more. The Manor has been a vacation rental now for ten years and continues to be connected with Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek, Ohio.
The Manor has a solar array system and produces enough electricity to cover almost all its electric costs.

Summary: This is the 4th year that we have stayed at the manor and find it perfectly suited to our needs. We are a group of family and friends that gather for a long weekend to enjoy crafting, eating, visiting, playing games, and relaxing. In the manor, we can all gather in one area for an activity or use multiple rooms and split into smaller groups when all are not involved. Use of the kitchen and all of the supplies makes meal preparation a breeze. The weather cooperated for part of our stay so we were able to enjoy sitting on the patio and out front, although we didn't light the fire pit. We will be booking soon for 2026.

Summary: Our group of friends have stayed here 8 times over the past 10 years and always had an amazing experience. There is so much room you can have people watching tv, playing billiards, playing board games, doing a puzzle, reading, and just sitting around talking all at the same time in their own area not disturbing anyone else. The kitchen is stocked with utensils for just about any typical cooking need. There is a grocery store right across the street (closed Sundays) which is very convenient. The check in at the Carlisle Inn is fast and easy and only a couple minutes drive from the property. The hosts could not have been better to work with, super friendly and very responsive. There is plenty to do in the area including stuff in Berlin, Millersburg, Sugarcreek, and Dover. Most places are closed on Sunday but we found some that are open. There are also places to hike, or play disc golf not far away. The hosts have been very helpful suggesting things to do. We always go in January and have often experienced winter weather. They have a company clear and salt the drive so we have never had any issues getting in or out. If there is enough snow, the massive hill is super fun for sledding. When the weather is warmer there is outdoor sports equipment available for use. I could go on forever about the things we love and do at Miller Manor, you should definitely stay here and then make plans to come back!!
